The remaining journey

The remaining journey to Tokyo was only 60km away. It felt like some unfinished business, like the leftover of your discs which are waiting for your wash since yesterday night. There was really no excitement doing it.

I woke up at 6 and have the usual milk and bread for breakfast.

I cleaned my bike before leaving, which I want to do since the rainy day.

Leaving Kamakura and entered Yokohama. Felt precisely opposite the way I left Nagoya. It was like getting slowly swallowed by the giant cit.

There is no joy for this kind of ride. Passing through the endless city streets, I reached the center of Yokohama.

It is a futuristic city.

And I suddenly realized that I didn’t rode on National route 1 today! If this was boring, imagine how boring on that boring king!

I always thought this scene only appears in Southeast Asia, and I finally found it in Japan! With a deeper thought, Japan is regarded as Southeast Asia as well!

Entering Tokyo. I was feeling hungry.

Then there was only one destination I wanted to go. I looked it up on the map, and it is actually just nearby.

The Tsukiji market, a famous fish market in Japan.

I wanted to eat Sashimi with rice, and I found one I can park my bike outside.

Moving on. After the Ginza, I arrived at the hostel in Asakusa.

I rode to Akihabara. In the afternoon and finally bought myself a USB power bank. It can buy me an extra day for my GPS when riding in Europe.

There is no bicycle parking space for bike in the hostel, and that is the situation which allows my bike to shine. I just have to fold my bike and bring it inside the hostel. It looked good from outside too!

And that was my unexciting end of the ride in Japan.
